On November 10 & 11, 2001, we hosted an online-only conference for teachers of English as a Foreign/Second Language entitled

ELT: Evolution of Learning & Teaching

Presenters and conference participants took part in the conference from their own geographical locations. Presentations were webcast live, meaning participants were able to hear the speaker, view materials previously submitted by the presenter on the website, engage in text-chat with the presenter and other conference delegates and more. All live presentations were recorded and are now available on the website along with the corresponding materials.

The ELToc featured keynote speeches by Prof. David Nunan and Dave Sperling ( www.eslcafe.com) as well as over 40 presentations and two panel-discussions. Over 300 delegates from countries around the world participated.
